The hotel has a brilliant location and is ideal for clients who prefer a traditional yet modern hotel in the old part of Salzburg. It comes highly recommended. SR 06/10 ## Location The hotel enjoys a convenient central location in the heart of old town Salzburg, only three minutes walk to Mozartplatz and the famous shopping streets of the pedestrian area. It is also ten minutes on foot away from the Mirabell Gardens and central station. Directions by car - Take exit Salzburg Sud and continue along the Alpenstrasse and Hellbrunnerstrasse until you reach Kaigasse. At the barrier , press Kasererbraeu which is connected with the reception of the hotel who will provide you with an access code for the barrier. Note - when arriving with a satalite navigation system - please enter Kajetanerplatz and not Kaigasse as the destination ## Distance 5 kms to the nearest airport (salzburg airport) 3 km to the nearest station (main station salzburg) 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop ## Rooms All bedrooms vary in size and decor and they fuse traditional elements of decor with modern design, but they are all pleasantly and individually decorated and most of the rooms feature pieces of antique furniture. ## Restaurant The breakfast room is located to the right of the lobby bar towards the rear of the hotel and is still part of the traditional part of the hotel. Decor is light yet cozy and a good breakfast is offered here. ## Exterior The building is historical dating back to 1342. The exterior is pastel yellow in colour and built into the surrounding architecture. The exterior still features the old hotel sign outside. ## Lobby The lobby is modern in decor with dark wood flooring and beige leather look furniture. It is medium in size and features a seating area along the bar and also in front of the windows bringing natural light in from the street.
