Day 1

Fly Dublin to Moscow.

Arrival in Moscow. Welcome by your driver and transfer to the hotel. On minivan.

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

Panoramic tour of the city by transport with an English-speaking guide: Discover the Red Square, St-Basil the Blessed Cathedral, GUM, the Kremlin, the Bolshoi, Manege Square, Tverskaya Street, then Mount "Vorobievi" (or Sparrow Hills), with its superb panorama and the view of the Novodevichy convent and its pond so popular with Muscovites.

Free time for lunch and free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city of Moscow.

Free time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel.

Guided tour of the Kremlin Palace, its territory and its cathedrals : the former residence of the Tsars, the largest and most famous fortress in the country, the Kremlin is a complex of palaces and cathedrals, the oldest of which date back to the 16th century. In this walls are also home to the graves of 47 tsars and numerous other curiosities.

Free lunch then free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city.

Dinner then night at the hotel.

    

Day 4

Free day in Moscow for a personal discovery of the city.

In the evening, transfer to the train station to take your night train to St-Petersburg. Departure time to be determined according to train schedules.

Night on the train. 1st Class.

Day 5

Early morning welcome by your guide at the train station.

Panoramic tour of the city by transport then visit the Peter and Paul Fortress: Discovery of the sumptuous capital imagined by Peter the Great at the mouth of the Neva. Decembrists’ Square, the Admiralty and the Peter and Paul Cathedral, Nevsky Prospekt, the Canals, the Cathedral of the Saviour on Spilled Blood ...the city tour is the ideal excursion to understand and tame the geography of this city on a human scale. Built in 1703, the Peter and Paul Fortress has several buildings including a splendid cathedral where almost all the Romanovs now rest, and a prison that housed the opponents of different times.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with your guide and departure for a guided tour of the Hermitage Museum: A veritable jewel of Russian Baroque art, the Hermitage Museum is one of the most important museums in the world. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it houses treasures from antiquity and the works of the great masters of the Dutch, Italian, Flemish, and Spanish schools. A visit appreciated for both the richness of the collections and the magnificence of the buildings.

Free day in St-Petersburg.

Day 8
