Location The family-friendly beach hotel is located on the shores of Isla Mujeres Bay at the heart of the hotel area, a ten-minute drive from Hooters, shopping centres, restaurants and night clubs. Playa Langosta beach is 400 metres from the club resort and Nautilus diving and training centre is 3.9 km away. Luxury Avenue is approximately 9 km from the hotel and the El Rey ruins are around 16 km away. Cancun city centre is 10 minutes' drive from the apartment hotel and the airport is a 30-minut Facilities The air-conditioned hotel is located beside a sheltered beach on the north shore of Cancun Hotel Zone with breathtaking views of the bay and Isla Mujeres. Facilities available to guests at the 201-room hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a hairdressing salon, small shop and a bar and restaurant. Younger guests may spend some time in the children's playground. Internet access, room service, a car park and a bicycle hire service are also provided. Rooms The hotel offers fully furnished villas with spacious balconies, some with views of the bay, others looking out over the gardens and the lagoon. The fully equipped apartments sleeping five people (two bedrooms and one bathroom) have kitchens with American-style fridges, cookers, hobs, microwave ovens, dishwashers and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a living area with pull-out bed, and a dining area and private terrace for sunbathing and open-air dining. The en suite bathroom has a shower, bathtub and hairdryer. A satellite TV, radio, hifi, safe, ironing set, Internet access and air conditioning also feature in all villas as standard. Sports/Entertainment Complimentary sailing lessons as well as the free use of sailboats (one hour per day per apartment) are offered by the hotel. Water sports such as snorkelling trips, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing, diving and catamaran boating can be arranged at the in-house travel agency (all for an additional fee). The hotel offers a golf programme with discounted rates at several local courses. Pok ta Pok golf course is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. There are two heated outdoor swimming pools on-site with a children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also join in an aqua fit session, work out in the gym, or relax with a spa treatment or massage on the beach. Tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and biking are also offered. The hotel organises entertainment programmes for adults and children. Sun loungers and parasols are also provided on the nearby sandy beach. Meals A continental breakfast buffet is offered each morning. Lunch and dinner are served à la carte, or as a buffet or set menu. Payment MasterCard and VISA are accepted as methods of payment. How to get there The approximate driving time from the airport to the hotel is 30 minutes. Take the airport access road going east and follow signs to the Hotel Zone and Boulevard Kukulcan. Proceed north on Boulevard Kukulcan, which is the main street extending along Cancun Island. Pass the Kukulcan and La Isla shopping centres. Continue travelling along Boulevard Kukulcan until reaching the resort, which is located on the right after 4.5 km.
