The hotel offers numerous leisure activities to its guests including tennis/golf and sailing and for those guests preferring something a little less energetic, the hotel even has its own beauty farm. This is a very luxurious hotel that comes very highly recommended. In addition it would be a fantastic choice for a romantic break! PL 0509. ## Location The hotel is situated directly on lake fuschl and approximately a 20 minute drive from the nearby historical town of salzburg. ## Distance 25 kms to the airport (salzburg airport) 160 kms to the airport (munich airport) 20 km to the nearest station (salzburg) 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop ## Rooms All rooms are individually and charmingly decorated in traditional style and were newly renovated in 2006. Some rooms in the main building offer lake view whereas others have equally beautiful views of the grounds. Rooms are on average large in size with some located in the main building and others in the neighboring buildings. ## Restaurant The hotel bar and restaurant areas are also very traditional with original artifacts. ## Exterior This is a beautiful historical hotel set in its own grounds and as its name suggests the main building reassembles an old castle. ## Lobby The lobby area of the hotel is small and traditionally decorated as befitting an historical building.
