Czech Inn

Rating:
This is a great hostel and the Czech Inn is well known for being one of the best in Prague. It is well decorated in a modern and minimalist style with a welcoming communal atmosphere. Located in the busy area of New Town there is plenty to see and do and all within walking distance. Wenceslas Square is right on the doorstep and not to be missed. Steeped in a rich and vibrant history the square has been home to many events and continues to be a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. It¿s one of the main City Squares and the centre of business and cultural communities in New Town. The square is named after the patron saint of Bohemia Saint Wenceslas and is a world heritage site. Charles Bridge is magnificent; it crosses the river Vltava and is huge. It is protected by three bridge towers, two of them on the Lesser Quarter and one on the Old Town side. There are lots of lovely little galleries, cafes and restaurants to visit along the riverbanks. Prague¿s national theatre is also within walking distance and is one of Czech¿s most important institutions. It has a rich artistic history created and maintained by some of Czech¿s most distinguished citizens. The theatre consists of three artistic ensembles- opera, ballet, and drama which alternate in their performances in this beautiful historic building. The night life surrounding you at the Czech Inn is great and the Inn themselves lay on various entertainments throughout the week.
