The Prado area is both a residential and shopping district, and is located halfway between the old port and the beaches of Prado and its seaside park. It is located near Parc Chanot which hosts among other things Marseille International Fair. It is also close to the Congress Centre and Velodrome Stadium. The Cours d'Estienne d'Orves, its café terraces and the Théâtre de la Criée frame this picturesque destination.
