The NH Berlin Heinrich Heine Hotel can be found in the southern part of central Mitte. With a grand total of 38 different rooms, this small hotel offers guests a more personal stay in Berlin along with a plethora of amenities. The location of this hotel is an excellent one with easy access to all of the city¿s most popular attractions within Berlin city centre. The island is also home to the Berliner Dom Cathedral which has some spectacular architecture. The NH Berlin Heinrich Heine is situated opposite the Luisenstadt Canal; it used to be a 1.4 mile long decorative canal which features the Angel¿s Pool. Nowadays the angel¿s pool remains and the rest of the canal is decorative gardens that make for a beautiful walk. Among the other close attractions is the Checkpoint Charlie Museum which used to one of the Berlin Wall Crossings. Another close by attraction is the Gendarmenmarkt square which is an architecturally stunning square to see as it is headed up at both ends by two beautiful cathedrals.
