Location Located in Bantry Bay, the Glengarriff Eccles Hotel is one of the oldest established hotels in Ireland. The calm waters, (Glengarriff is situated on the Gulf Stream), are ideal for sailing and a boat trip to the miniature temple and splendid grounds of the famous Garnish Island (ILNACULLIN) is a must. And, with activities such as golfing, pony trekking, hill walking and salmon fishing virtually on tap you will not be at a loose end.Rooms Many of the rooms command panoramic views of Bantry Bay and the historic Ilnacullin or Garnish Island. Each of guest rooms are fully equipped with the following: direct dial telephone, modem links, TV, wireless broadband (throughout the main hotel), hairdryer, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities.Restaurant The excellent restaurant in the Glengarriff Eccles Hotel which seats 60 people boasts panoramic views of Bantry Bay. The menu offers a wide choice to suit all tastes with local seafood a speciality. We also offer an extensive wine list.Lounge/Bar Bar food is served throughout the day between 12 noon and 9pm. We offer a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, main courses and desserts.
