Kinlay House Hostel

Rating:
Fot the budget conscious visiting Dublin, you won't find better priced or located accommodation in the city. The Dormitories are simple and clean but perfect for Groups and it is a very friendly hostel. There are Themed nights out throughout the week - organised by staff - and all guests get free internet and WiFi access throughout. It is open 24 hours so there is no curfew for those staying at late and if you want a good Hostel, this comes recommended. For Groups wishing to book more than 1 Bed, PLEASE BOOK 2/3 or 4 SINGLES and not a QUAD. You are allocated a SINGLE BED each. (GW 05/2011) ## Location Situated in the heart of the city on the edge of the vibrant Temple Bar district in what is known as the Viking/Medieval area, Kinlay House is surrounded by a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. City Hall is literally opposite and attractions including the Guiness Storehouse, Dublin Castle and Trinity College are within walking distance. ## Distance 7 kms to the nearest airport (dublin) 2 km to the nearest station (heuster) 2 km to the nearest fair site (ros) ## Rooms Kinlay House offers hostel beds and the rooms booked are for a Single bed within Dormitory accommodation. These are ideal for school, college and sports groups as well as individual budget travellers. They are of a fairly good size, in clean condition with plain colour schemes. The hostel has different types of Dormitories but these contain 3 bunks within - 6 beds. All rooms feature wardrobe, have natural daylight from the large windows and central heating. Towels can be hired and all rooms operate on an electronic locking system. In addition, bags can be stored in lockers on the Ground floor. ## Restaurant As this is a hotel, there is no Restaurant as such, but there is a room where a cooked Breakfast Menu is offered (payable locally). There is a self catering kitchen for those looking to eat in and Lounge for relaxing in and watching TV, playing pool/table tennis and surfing on the internet. ## Exterior From the outside, this is a lovely red brick period Building. It's more in keeping with the exterior of a hotel than a hostel.
