Superbly situated in the heart of Krakow¿s old town, the practical and spacious Hostel 70s offers comfortable accommodations in a central location where guests can easily discover the cultural capital of Poland. Being in the heart of Krakow, the hostel provides quick and easy access to the towns 6,000 architectural monuments. Make yourself at home in one of the dormitory rooms or you¿re very own private room. Guests have access to the common room that has a satellite television, DVD player and video games. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette for guests to prepare their own meals. The bathroom facilities that are shared all have a shower and there is complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the building. The Hostel is located within walking distance from the town¿s main market Square that features the 16th century renaissance cloth hall and the 14th century St Mary¿s Basilica. Other attractions include the historical kazimierz district that features a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants that the district is famous for. The hostel is also just a short walk from the Kraków Glówny Train Station and Bus Station that allows guest to explore the many attractions outside of Krakow that include the Auschwitz concentration camp and the Wieliczka Salt Mines that were built in the 13th century and feature an altar completely carved out of rock salt. Excellent night-life on Nowy Square is also a stroll away. The reception at the hostel is open 24 hours a day; guests can avail of the bicycle rental service here if they wish to view the city in a different light.
