The Playa Sur Tenerife is situated in the fishing village of El Médano, right on the Playa El Médano, the longest natural sandy beach in Tenerife. The hotel is also close to the centre of the town where many shops and restaurants can be found and El Medano is about 12.5 miles from the busy resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. The Amarilla Golf Club is around 4.5 miles away.
